To My Students & Their Parents,
First of all, I am happy to have you as an integral part of our course. I hope that this course meets your academic needs and allows you to grow as an individual. The high expectations that I have for you and for myself will allow us to find success together. My classes have often been described as "highly challenging but enjoyable as well," and I hope this becomes your experience as we move forward in the school year.
As I am going into my 19th year of teaching, I have had the opportunity to teach and coach students from at-risk programs to Advanced Placement within various types of school settings/communities. Although I have truly enjoyed and miss the previous schools where I have taught, I have really come to a place in my career where I can call Chatfield my home away from home. I cannot imagine teaching anywhere else again.
Outside of teaching I enjoy staying active, travelling, trying new restaurants, and being with my family. Here at Chatfield I also help sponsor Chatfield's Multicultural Diversity Alliance which is a club that helps bring awareness of diverse populations to our school community through various outreach and charitable activities. As the school year moves forth I am excited about getting to know all my students and their interests as well.
Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. I have Access in A102. My planning periods are 1 & 5 first semester and 1 & 5 second semester but you can reach me through e-mail- [email protected] or phone- (303) 982-3607 as well. Good luck this year and work hard. Please select from the links above according to your class to get more important course information.
Sincerely,
Nkin "Swanny" Suwannakorn
